We are proud to have been awarded a permit from the US Fish & Wildlife Service to operate to and within the boundaries of the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge.
Morris Island, the Common Flats off North Monomoy, South Beach Island, Shark Hole, Monomoy Lighthouse, the Powder Hole and Monomoy Point are now within reach! And nearly impossible NOT to see seals from shore.
Over 8 miles stretch south from the headlands at the NWR headquarters in Morris Island. To accommodate these greater distances off our usual Stage Harbor route, we’ve broken it up into 3 tiers:
Morris Island & adjacent Common Flat: $30 per person roundtrip
South Beach Island/North Monomoy: $50/ per person roundtrip
South Monomoy Day Trip: $80/person with 2 person minimum – get dropped at the most advantageous spot to explore for 2-4 hours the National Wilderness, shore and upland, via marked trails to the Monomoy Lighthouse, the wild Atlantic Ocean side and the peaceful and undisturbed barrier beach.
While we continue to serve Chatham’s boating community as a harbor launch, we are proud to also bring visitors to the unspoiled and wild beauty of Monomoy.
Contact us directly to discuss where you would like to go and what part of the Refuge most interests you.
